What you will learn at this course:
Introduction to ultrasound physics and instrumentation and basic scanning of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, and hip, knee, foot and ankle.
- Ability to recognise normal vs abnormal pathology on diagnostic ultrasound
- How to incorporate diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound into your physical exam
- How to assess and treat the spine and peripheral joints with osteopathic assessment, treatment and instruction on high velocity low amplitude mobilisation/manipulation (HVLA)​

About the tutors:
Dr. Charles Stevens, DPT, RMSK, D-EDX, COMT, CLT, AIB-VAM, Founder of Mobile Therapy Services
Attended Misericordia University for his doctorate degree in physical therapy. Has worked in varying settings including inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing facilitates, and outpatient therapy. Dr. Stevens is licensed to practice physical therapy in the states of both Pennsylvania and New York. In 2024, Dr. Stevens earned the credential of D-EDX which is a Diplomat in Clinical Electrodiagnosis from Hands On Diagnostics in Astoria, New York.
In 2025 Dr. Stevens completed his EMG and Nerve conduction study residency program in Astoria, New York with Hands On Diagnostics.
This program is one of two residency programs in the country approved by the American Board of Physical Therapy and Residency Fellowship Education (ABPTRFE). He has completed > 315 studies and currently performs studies from his Dallas office and for physician specialties in primary care, physiatry, and neurosurgery in Pennsylvania and New York.

David Lintonbon DO, PG BSc Cert Clin Ed MSc MEd Acu CAMHA
David has been involved nationally and internationally, in the teaching of manual medicine techniques in over 40 countries.
David trained as an Osteopath at the British School of Osteopathy in 1985 and then completed his postgraduate studies at the University of Brighton where he was awarded the Post Graduate Certificate of Clinical Education followed by an MSc in Medical Acupuncture. David is the author of the Handbook of Manual Medicine published in 2024, along with the ebook series the Art of HVT. He is currently a clinical tutor & lecturer at British College of Medicine, London UK.
His skills and expertise remain in demand around the world.​​​​
