Service Description

Course Duration: 2 Days Skill level: Intermediate  - 14 CPD hours ​Who this course is for: Participants who have completed Prof. Dr. Tianjun Wang Scalp Acupuncture Level 1 General course structure Level 2 Day 1 • Review and refresh of Day 1 SA areas, with practice workshop. • Location of SA areas 2, demonstration and practice (Stomach Area, Thoracic Cavity Area, Reproduction Area, Liver and Gallbladder area, Intestine area, Stop Madness Area, Central Area) with practice workshop. Day 2 • Review and Practice basic SA needling, with practice workshop • Advanced SA needling, demonstration, and practice • Advanced SA treatment: sample internal organ and gynae conditions. Notes: During the practical class, participants are expected to administer and receive needling. If you are pregnant and would like to discuss if you are able to attend, please contact us. You must possess adequate public liability insurance. Scalp Acupuncture is covered by general acupuncture,  if in doubt contact your insurer accordingly. Participants are required to complete the 2-day workshop for attainment of CPD Certificate. About the Lecturer: Prof. Dr. Tianjun Wang graduated from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine (NJUCM) in 1989. He completed his PhD on Acupuncture for Depression at NJUCM. Tianjun moved to the UK and joined the University of East London UK as a Senior Lecturer and the Director of Acupuncture Clinic 2007- 2014. Current Prof. Wang is the Principal of the London Academy of Chinese Acupuncture UK (LACA). He is a Guest Professor of NJUCM. Prof. Wang is the Vice President of the Scalp Acupuncture Committee of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) and the president of the Academy of Scalp Acupuncture UK (ASA), the honorary president of the Chinese Acupuncture and herbal Medicine Alliance UK (CAHMA). He owns TJ Acupuncture Clinic and Brain Care Centre in London. Prof. Wang has authored and co-authored more than 60 academic papers as well as peer reviewers to many international journals. His authored book “Acupuncture for Brain: Treatment for Neurological and Psychologic Disorders” published by Springer 2021.
